@ Adrian: was that via mail to the PO Box?? LARC LOGs were just folded tonight. When you receive yours, look @ the label and see if it says 2010 Member" or "Complimentary" if the latter

Hi Becky and I both have our calls on our vehicles and we get alot of people wondering what they mean because they dont say anything about radio. I know some states plates say ham radio or something simular. Somewhere I read or heard that there was talk about changing the Nebraska plates does anyone know anything about that.

nebraska is getting the funky golden colored plates in 2011 I beleive. Ham plates will be a normal plate with your callsign on it like always.

Half the fun of having people ask is explaining to them what a ham is and what we do!

Actually, I think we are getting HAM plates that say ham radio on them. I saw a copy of one a few months back. I'll have to dig a little more to see, but I think I saw a final design, and it was pretty cool. Different than the 'new' state plates. If I find a photo, I'll post it.

The photo is accurate, but the new plates, effective January 2011, may not look EXACTLY as depicted. The colors will PROBABLY be dark green on white. More info will be coming, but not in time for the Hamfest, sorry to say. Watch for Art's ARRL updates.
